Grad student Michael Conry was invited by the Center for Automata processing at the University of Virginia to a workshop entitled Designing a Community Infrastructure to Support Automata Computing and Hardware Acceleration Research and Education. The event takes place Friday and Saturday, May 13-14, 2016.
The workshop will focus on the development of new hardware acceleration and refinement of Micron’s Automata processor, a native-hardware implementation of a classic computational model, non-deterministic finite automaton (NFA). Conry was invited for his contribution and expertise in genetic sampling and parallel processing.
