Abstract:

Neutron stars are unique cosmic laboratories for the exploration of matter under some of the most extremes conditions found in the universe. Neutron stars display enormous exotic states of matter that are difficult to reproduce under normal laboratory conditions. In this presentation I will discuss how powerful statistical techniques in combination with modern theoretical approaches are essential to our understanding of these fascinating objects.
